Dr. Verna Cornelia Price
Founder/President
Verna Cornelia Price, Ph.D., is the founder, president and principal consultant of J. Cameron & Associates, an organization committed to empowering and motivating people to realize and positively use their personal power. Dr. Verna is an author, organizational consultant, motivational speaker, executive coach, and educator. Her professional experience includes teaching pre-school through 6th grade and working as a program director, senior marketing manager, assistant dean of women, director of leadership programs and college professor.

| In 2002, she created a Power of People Professional Development Process which equips businesses with tools and strategies to empower their employees to new levels of excellence through personal power and leadership. In 2005, Dr. Verna founded Girls in Action™, a leadership empowerment project for which she was honored in 2006 with an Ann Bancroft Leadership Award. In 2007, Dr. Verna and her husband co-founded The Power of People Leadership Institute™, a nonprofit organization committed to helping people overcome life’s obstacles while finding success in every area of life through personal power and leadership. In 2008, Dr. Verna was awarded the WOW Achievement Award in the category of individual champion of women for her innovation in creating programs and processes which increase organizational effectiveness and individual performance of women in the workplace. She is the author of numerous research and educational articles and chapters, and the two best-selling books, The Power of People: Four Kinds of People Who Can Change Your Life (2003) and The Silent Cry; Dealing with Subtracters in Work and Life (2008). Dr. Verna is a Leadership Institute faculty member at The College of St. Catherine. She received her Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota. |
Theresa Olson, M. A.
Principal Consultant
Theresa Olson is an experienced trainer, coach and workshop leader. She enjoyed a twenty year career in public service providing front line human service delivery and managing programs in a diverse metropolitan government agency before joining J. Cameron & Associates in 2007. Theresa’s enthusiasm for customer service and creating customer centered organizations lead her to focus on developing quality service education and innovative community outreach programs for the public sector. She led several award winning initiatives during her years in government service. Since 1999, Theresa has researched, written articles and presented numerous quality customer service workshops including a national tele-talk broadcast.

She began her association with Dr. Verna Cornelia Price in 2003 as a student of the Power of People Development Process. She collaborated with Dr. Price to create “Power of People Customer Service” programs for public and private sector organizations.

She also leads Executive Coaching Circles for Women, a six week program designed to offer women clear solutions in today’s competitive business world. Theresa is passionate about empowering people to become the best they can be in work, life and community.
Theresa Olson holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota and Master of Public and Non-Profit Administration from Metropolitan State University, St. Paul, Minnesota. She is married to Douglas B. Olson, and has two sons, Neal and Robert.

Natalie Johnson Lee
Principal Consultant
Natalie Johnson Lee is the founder of Sisters in Power (SIP), an organization developed to re-power women to lead and pursue their destinies.
Known for her “down to earth” communication style, she coaches individuals to discover their inherent gifts and realize their full potential.

She is a servant leader with a keen understanding of the critical issues that challenge our communities and cities today. Natalie’s passion is to provide access to economic power, political influence, educational opportunities, community strength and social justice led her to a seat on the Minneapolis City Council. There she served on various committees, boards, and as the Chair of the Health & Human Services which allowed her to directly impact decisions that affected citizens throughout the City of Minneapolis. Johnson Lee is recognized in corporate and social service circles for her rich experience in workforce development, she has received national recognition as a work-force educator and facilitator. Her career spans the corporate, non-profit, faith-based and public sectors. Natalie is a life-long learner, dedicated wife, committed mother to five, faithful servant and a compassionate mentor to many.

Brother Shane Price
Principal Consultant
Brother Shane Price is a peacemaker, servant leader, mediator, and community organizer who believes that “the worth of a man is the quality of his soul” and for decades has worked to create positive social changes

for people in government, education, community organizations, churches, and on the street.Brother Shane’s work is marked by the values of social and economic justice, non-violence, grass roots democracy, environmental wisdom, and strategic planning.
His professional experience includes work with the Hennepin County Office of Planning and Development as a Research Planner and a variety of roles within the Children, Family and Adult Services Dept. Brother Shane developed and implemented a state and county sponsored peacemaking initiative to address child abuse and neglect issuesthe first of its kind in the country. Brother Shane is also credited with the organization and development of a number of community social change initiatives such as the creation of the first community-based social service site founded in 1995 in North Minneapolis Legacy Village, the Social Justice and Cultural Wellness Center and the Unity Action Community Team which resulted in an annual Peace March in North Minneapolis.
Currently, Brother Shane coordinates the African American Men Project (AAMP) a Hennepin County research and implementation project based out of the need to address why young African American Men are too often in crisis and standing on street corners. As the coordinator, Brother Shane has created and lead a number of social change initiatives including Restorative Justice Day, Right Turn, a program which provides targeted case management and holistic, wrap-around services through structured organizational partnerships and community outreach, and Black Men Reading.
As a principal consultant for J Cameron & Associates Brother Shane specializes in strategic planning, social change, servant leadership and personal power. He studied chemical dependency at Metropolitan State University and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Not-For- Profit Management. Brother Price has authored a number of articles and papers based on his life experiences and the importance of creating positive social changes in urban communities.
